Biography
Sky Whistler is a 20 year old actor, writer and model born and raised in County Donegal, Ireland currently based in London, UK. At the University for the Creative Arts, he studied BA (Hons) Acting & Performance refining his craft both in screen-acting and theatre performance and graduated 2024. Sky is currently employed at SKC Games Studio as a member of the performing arts team. He works as voice actor and motion-capture artist for their upcoming RPG series Project UN. Sky looks forward to showcasing his passion for storytelling talent across a range of media whether it be the next best-selling video game, BAFTA nominated TV series or West End theatre, Sky is hungry for varied acting parts and is well-positioned for a successful professional career.

The Writer's Room Overview
Sky Whistler joined The Writers Room Programme at Hackney Empire Theatre in October 2020 to maintain his creative writing talent under the guidance of creative professionals Jasmyn Fisher-Ryner and Rachael Horowitz. During his time there he nutured his passion in becoming a screenwriter by developing a professional script for his short film Feelings, a section from a comedy-drama series he wrote throughout the course of the programme. Production of the short film began June 2021 which Sky had co-directed with industry director and actor Max Dickter.

In June 2022, Feelings was screened in Rich Mix alongside other members and participants of the The Writers Room also screening their written and produced scripts which then followed up with a live Q & A. The panel including Sky spoke to members of the audience sharing their experience of the programme from the development process of their scripts to the production of the shorts films.
